A B O U T M E
I am an assistant professor at School of Communication, University of Nebraska Omaha. My research program centers on explaining how journalism jobs have been challenged by social and digital changes and how journalists can maintain their well-being and stay up to date with changes in the digital transformation. As a former political journalist, I am also interested in the influences of political news on audiences’ attitudes toward the government and their political participation.

At UNO, I teach media writing, multimedia journalism, research method, and Capstone courses.
